Munster, celtic league, heineken cup, general and tag rugby thread 🐐

Thought you only started there in the last week and have no prior experience in a trading or betting environment and you have already traded three games in-running?? That is some going, it must be a handy trading tool ye have or they had a great fella to train you so fast. Also, wasn’t it here where they spotted you posting tips and then approached you, presumably they will be aware then that you post a bit here still and wouldn’t mind you making recommendations or giving opinions. Your own firm don’t have to be laying these prices, just make sure to be bottom price.

Yes Dunph, my first game was last Sunday, I traded one last night and tonight. My schedule for the rest of the weekend includes two games tomorrow. I didn’t think I’d be thrown into it so quickly either but once you are shown the system it’s fairly basic, we don’t offer as many markets i/r as some of the industry leaders and a lot of the markets are automated and just require monitoring of the book. We have a handful of markets that actually require pricing by the trader and would be opinion based to an extent. Otherwise the vast majority of the work is done pricing pre-game and finding where the lines should be. It’s not as glamorous a job as you might picture. From the “tipping” point of view, I wouldn’t feel comfortable making recommendations that are influenced by my position. That’s for me to utilise in the job itself to give us an advantage, why would I spout that online for people who bet to see. Anyway that’s enough about my new occupation, it really isn’t any of your or Mac’s concern.

let it go pal…we should be honoured when the legend that is TTK drops in and decides to impart some of his acknowledge and wisdom on to us …i just wish he´d stop by more often…but he´s the consummate professional and won´t risk a potential conflict of interest…he truly is the tipping king in these parts…

embrace his wisdom and watch your bank balance grow…

You’re a fucking slug, slime back under your rock.

All sounds reasonable TTK, best of luck with it all.

well thats alright then…the Munch gives his blessing…TTK has proved himself to the chosen one…interview over…
who do u think you are you arrogant Pig ?..

You’re an idiot. Posting my tips is a conflict of interests in my opinion, I haven’t asked my employers view of what I post on a small Irish online board How have I ‘talked’ about the matches I have traded? I haven’t mentioned any of them pre-game or posted in any detail about trading the event other than merely stating I was doing those games. Grow up Mac.[/quote]

You mentioned you were trading your first game the night or day before, I’m only nitpicking now. From this and your following post it sounds like you decided yourself to stop posting tips as you felt there was a conflict, rather than your employer telling you not to. If that’s the case then just say it rather than hiding behind them.

I follow traders and odds compilers from about 5 or 6 different places on Twitter and am aware of a number of forums where they post. None of them are prevented from posting their opinion by their employer, which was why I found your original statement on all this so outlandish.

Allez Clermont. Having a bit of respect for the punters going to the end and winning by 43 points. Handicap was 19. Toulon and Leinster both fell short of the handicap today. Clermont can always be relied upon though.

Ulster cut to shit here already, Castres at their ease. Pienaar with a pathetic knock on at out half, shit himself when he saw the defence come up.

Could someone please post a link for the Munster match, thanks in advance

Just turned on Sky Sports.

Are they not showing it?

Red button Phil

Ah right. No red button on UPC

Ah well

Of course Munster will easily score the four tries here. That’s because the other team won’t bother their hole. And they’ve just had a man sent off.

Would it be too much to hope Leicester and Toulouse could play out a high scoring thriller between them with a narrow Leicester win and both teams scoring four tries? It would be hilarious to see Munster think they’d qualified and them have it taken away from them.

Utter dogshit so far

Scutter is a better word for it.

Score ?

17 - 6 to the brave and the faithful

Do they not need tries, why go for that peno they scored?
