Ulster says NO

Hon ulster!

Clancy says NO!

Horgan wins the analysts fashion contest hands down, a delightful scarf topping off a smashing look.

I enjoyed the last 10 mins of that. Fierce stuff from Ulster.

not yet runt

cant be a try.

I think he looks paunchy. He has wintered well since his retirement.

sure it can only be the Cork one. Look at the way he was described - jovial spirits endless banter etc. There is no better prankster in world rugby than the Cork Donners

Gway

Kidney gone. Not before time in fairness.

Had to go really. Fair play to him for delivering a grand slam but Ireland have gone backwards at the rate of knots since. Kiss, Smal and uber cunt Foley should follow suit-complete clear out and start anew.

It is in fact before time, well in a way, they didnt get rid of him, they simply announced they wonā€™t be renewing his contract which concludes on June 30th. McKenzie looks to be waiting in the wings. Us Reds fans will be sorry to see him go, but what a coup for the IRFU to get the big Link. It would also mean theyā€™d hang onto Smal and Kiss which is vital going forward.

Live Spot. (Went looking for the Celebs Spotting Thread but couldnā€™t find it so in here the spot goes)

Who: Warren Gatland
Famous for: Previously coaching Connacht, Ireland, Wasps, Wales and now the British and Irish Lions
Where: Terminal 2 Dublin Airport

Warren is dressed semi-casually in a jacket and trousers. He is currently sitting down over a pint with a companion and no doubt speculating over a) who he should pick for the Lions squad b) that the IRFU blazers who have just done Kidney in are probably the same messers who screwed him over.

Irelandā€™s greatest ever coach

So who are the options to replace Mr Kidney?

Schmidt
McKensie
Cotter
O Shea
Kiss
McLaughlin
O Sullivan
Bradley
Elwood
McCall
Ruddock
Mallet
Easterby
Clive

Have I left anyone out?

I donā€™t know enough about Ewen McKenzie if thatā€™s who you mean but he has a good reputation. My first choice would be Conor Oā€™Shea who wonā€™t take it yet, then Schmidt who probably wonā€™t want it either. Kiss is in charge of our attack and we canā€™t score tries so no way thanks. Is Cotter in the running? That would be a great appointment but canā€™t see it happening. Of the rest, I would pick Mike Ruddock-he was shafted by Wales after winning them a grand slam and has a winning track record everywhere heā€™s been. He would have a very good knowledge of the game and players here and I hope he gets it.

I await TTKā€™s advice/views on this matter.

Something tells me Brian McLaughlin coaching 15 Orangemen with Ian Paisley as the team masseuse(behave Ian!) would be TTKā€™s choice.
