Munster final

Fixed

Any chance we’d get some discussion on the match? Clare look a team transformed, Duggan is a new player altogether this year, said as much after the limerick Clare league game. Cork fierce quiet, is Ellis back in at 6?

GAA Statistics: How Peter Duggan has transformed this Clare team (via @IrishTimes) https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/gaelic-games/hurling/gaa-statistics-how-peter-duggan-has-transformed-this-clare-team-1.3546048

That’s some mish mash of selective stats and opinion for an article titled “GAA Statistics”.

He’s been fantastic for them alright, Conlon has been superb as well. Both taking a bit of pressure off Kelly and allowing him to play his own game also.
I don’t mind this Clare team and will be offering them my support in the Munster Final, on the proviso that it doesn’t affect their ability to maintain our holiday homes and pull our pints obviously.

Fuck off for yourself.

Duggan v Coleman will be a very interesting battle. My assumption would be that Cooper will look to man mark Kelly and Kearney as he has done will play deep almost as an auxiliary midfielder. If that is the case will Clare get Jamie Shanahan to sit and hold in the half back line.

Cork are pretty good at dictating match ups in the forwards and will look to pull Clare backs into positions that don’t suit similar to the first day out where we ended up with Morey in essence at full back for the the last 15 minutes.

Morey is most likely to miss out altogether with a leg injury, not expected to make the 26. Assume David Fitz will start in his place.

You’d imagine Clare will struggle coming away from their tight pitch in Ennis.

Will ye win Joe?

In the 3 or 4 years Joe has been here I dont think he has ever tipped Clare to win.

If Clare we’re playing an in house challenge game between themselves he’d still somehow side against Clare
