Lyons was a disgrace. We knew he was whistle happy but he took the piss today. Ruined it for both teams.

Frees against is one thingā¦ The other team not being reffed to same standards is frustrating but itās been like that all year so we just have to get on with it
it was a belter of a match so you can hardly blame Lyons for ruining things, he made a few mistakes alright

From the initial angle on TV it looks like Hegarty pulled across him, thatās the way the ref was looking as well,
The first yellow was pure stupid, put the ball down next to a fellas toes, pull and say the ball was there 
But heās been unlucky to see red, anyway it makes no difference, dead rubber for Limerick, theyāll best Clare by what they want to in the final

Hegarty had two yellow cards. The first was his own stupid fault. The linesman told the ref to give it. The second, he did his usual hegarty flail. The ref consulted everyone as he should, and was clearly again told it was a yellow, which was strange, because in fact, if it was anything (which it wasnāt, but mainly because he hit the players hurl rather than body by random chance) it was a red.
Overall he gave some he shouldnāt have and didnāt give others he should. But looking at that game as a whole, a draw seemed fair enough.

Maybe they do? There was a number of obvious frees for Limerick not blown there today yet Clare only had to be brushed off but shur, we just have to get on with it and bate the ref n all.

That doesnt account for Colm Lyons performance though. He was absolutely biased and Hegarty should not have got two yellow cards.
I think folk are getting fed up with the entitlement and casual thuggery which surrounds the team and bandwagon.
