Sad to see.
Rumours of sectarian singing by the munster fans too but I think thats unfounded
Glasgow fans booing an injured player was disappointing to see too. Its these elements we donât want to see creeping into rugby.
Booing a player who is lying prone on the ground with a head injuryâŚfucking north British.
We know you voted noâŚ
I presume they thought he was faking being knocked out. Which is kinda ironic because thatâs exactly what him and the Munster management are going to argue happened now that theyâre being investigated for letting him play on as a clear concussion risk
He claimed he hadnât gotten a knock on the head and he clearly points to his neck.
Munster said when the doc left field he reviewed the video again and they pulled him for the HIA when they saw the incident again. He passed the HIA and went back on. He had another HIA post match which he also passed.
I said it last nt after game it looked bad and he shouldnât have been left back on. Personally donât think he was concussed he didnât look to have any symptoms apart from looking like heâd been sparked out. But thatâs not really the point
The Glasgow fans are gas crowd. The booing at every turn. They were going mad on twitter coz munster fans singing sectarian songs I. E. The fields
You couldnât make it up.
Cunts moaning about Murray sledging Glasgow players at the final whistle. ( fair achievement for a lad concussed ).
You are spot on, he was fine.
My own view, having played the game and supported it for years, is that once a player has been KOâd a HIA is irrelevant- they should be removed from the pitch.
Murray was out for the count. He and the Munster management team left him on which increased the chance heâd pass the HIA several minutes later. I donât blame the player - theyâll always want to stay on. Very poor form from Munster mgmt though. If it was any other game (or prob player) there is not a chance theyâd be back out to play. Itâs as bad as any of the George North incidents. The fact that the EPCR are investigating is not surprising.
Pipe down Mary Poppins.
What they are claiming, rightly or wrongly, was that the medics went straight onto the pitch and had only seen incident in real time and weâre not aware heâd been KO. And when they left pitch and saw video they then removed him
But yeah I agree 100% if player was knocked out he should be gone for rest of game immediately. Was Murray definitely KO? Looked it in real time but havenât seen many angles of it
Itâs definitely not as bad as the north incidents. He was wobbling all over the fucking place. And murray doesnât have northâs history
Yeah and he was sledging a fella who came through late when the ball was gone and hit him a beltâŚfuck the cunts
And one further point relative to North. North was actually concussed badly the time it happened with Wales and Iâd suspect badly a few weeks ago again.
Whilst I do agree with your point that Murray should have been gone out of game I donât actually think he was concussed at all.
Think your a bit off here. Murray gets another knock to the head a minute later thatâs why he was removed from play.
Thatâs what I thought. But I am just repeating whatâs munster own official response was.
Munster set to face Untoward Incident Review after Murray incident http://the42.ie/3188018
Detail is in here
Fuck all comment about Munster pulling o Mahony from the game in last ten mins for a HIA when the game was rightly in the mixer.
He failed it anyway. Probably sit out next weekend
Eh they shouldnât be praised for following regulations should they?
That does explain the kiss though
Not at all. But it is certainly a point to be noted for those who say Munster have no regard for their players.
The kiss I believe was to resolve a barney the two boys had on the field after Stander had given away a penalty!
It should just become an Independent thing. Get rid of these Medical Council type reviews.
Two penalties in Row. Fairly brainless, perhaps he was concussed too?
