Munster Rugby

Take a day off. Go for a walk, have a coffee with a friend, or a stranger maybe, try not to bore them though with your rubby conspiracy theories.

Can you not just follow Munster like you follow man united, and accept that without losing, the wins aren’t as much fun?
Munster always have it in them to turn Leinster over, and they seem to be getting better again.

This has absolutely nothing to do with winning or losing.

It’s like arguing with a doorman though. You can be as right as you want, you still won’t win. Sometimes you just have to accept your lot and move on.

I’ll never accept anything.

Ask yourself why the IRFU took on €4m extra debt from Munster in 2023 that was termed as “operational debt”. Strange given years of Munster being in mostly deficit periods eh?

Also there’s the positive of the new high performance unit at Musgrave.

Maybe if a few more supporters went to a few matches rather than shouting about them on the INTERNET Munster’s finances wouldn’t be such a shitshow.

I suppose there are few bandwagon brownie points to be earned from tipping into Thomond on a Friday evening to watch them play

I think he was the best possible player they could get at the time and was a truly world class prospect. However, to me, his kicking out of hand and his passing could be wild/erratic. Really good place kicker.

Saw him a couple of years ago as Munster were getting turned over by Benneton away, he looked to have lost a bit of his pace. He seems to have found himself again but he is playing in a great team that can adjust to him and accentuate all the stuff he does well. He is a huge ‘what if?’

He clearly lost his spot and it wasn’t because of injury in the end.

Yes because Jack Crowley was a better player and it was because of injury.

Carberry missed the Toulouse game when the irfu forced Munster to use the Aviva over Puc when they lost in extra time.

Softened up Toulouse before Leinster hammered them the following and lost the final again.

Carberry always gives a tell with his feet what way he is passing. A fatal flaw
In any out halves game.

He was very unlucky with injuries. 2019 World Cup was a disaster.

The fact he was consistently injured was obviously a factor in him losing his spotm if he was as durable as a ROG or someone Crowley would still be in the academy

Not having a proper front row cost them about three million quid the past two seasons.

Don’t even need an increase in budget just needed to invest money properly.

Ahern Kendellen Coombes (or Gleeson) could be some line in two years time. Should all be pushing international places.

Gleeson has a higher ceiling than all those anyway.

18s, 19s and 20s squads all released. Made up of 50 percent Leinster players over all.

I genuinely think when everyone is fit from 4 to 15 Munster have a really good squad. Two centres with the Irish 20s are meant to be promising.

Danny Sheehan by all accounts is highly rated and will surely be pushing Niall Scannell out of the squad.

Big issues are 1 and 3. Until they sort them they’ll be between 8 and 16 seeds in Europe.

Hodnett also, he is the best of them but just a bit too small for international rugby
