Munster Rugby

His teammates respect his talent but view him as a physical coward

Former winger Roger Randall name i heard.

What did Murray say about him?

He’s talking about Mike Prendergast leaving Munster, not Sam Prendergast.

He didn’t say him exactly but he said he found the final game in Thomond incredibly disrespectful. A few other things like that.

Murray comes across as a bit of a twat.

More and more that seems to be the case. He is certainly after coming out of this shell with a book to sell

I’d have started Tom wood

He’s not covering himself in glory alright and he’s not great at the oul punditry either although he’s new to it to be fair.

Probably didn’t want him to be playing an hour here after 3 weeks with 20s and two more weeks to come.he is Def better than JJ

Very true.

I wonder is there much bad blood after Murray and Pom came off national contracts and barely played coming back to Munster.

It can’t have gone down well and at a time when Munster were cutting the squad due to the budget being cut.

No real positives tonight bar the win.

Where is young O Connell? Why aren’t munster giving him more gametime?

He’s played a few games. Not many games anymore the way things work.

He’s competing with Jean Kleyn, beirne, edogbo, wycherly and sometimes Tom ahern.

Farrell looked a level above everyone else on the pitch. Not much to comment on after that.

You wouldn’t bank on them wining much more than two of them games in the league.

Hard to know where they’re at really. Started off the season great (O’Gara seems to give Prendergast a lot of credit for that), gone backwards a long way since. Looked not far off a group playing together for the first time yesterday. The trip to SA will give a fair idea of where they’re at.

Said it before but I think they started the season fitter and better prepared than some other teams after a v intense pre season. Think it gave a false read on where they were at

They seemed to lose all confidence after the stormers cluster fuck.

It sort of reminds me of Limerick under kiely in 2017. This season is a bridging year. We lost three games by less than a score in the Leinster
Home game and the two January European cup games.

They have defined the season now. I’m hoping next year they can improve like Ulster under richie Murphy in season two. Turn those one score losses into a one score win.

Does that alone explain it though? They looked like a team that were cohesive and very clear in what they were trying to do, that’s unravelled as the season has gone on. Maybe they can bring it back together when they get the full squad together again for the last part of the season.
