And salanoa. And isnāt there another one in the academy in hisid 20s, I think so.
Heās injured again
Time to make a call on Salanoa too, heās either going to be fit to play soon or he should retire. The lad has hardly played in the 5/6 years heās been in Ireland. Must have spent about 500k on him.
I presume/hope heās on minimal enough wages and a pay for play contract.
Fixed!
It was hardly worth it for this fella to give up the day job at 29 to be a pro rugby player
Alatoa hasnāt been confirmed to be staying or going and Aungier also signed from Connacht. S
What was his day job?
The only action Iāve seen from Salanoa in the last 3 years is when he skipped ahead of me in the breakfast buffet in the Maryborough hotel. Wasnāt much left for me truth be told
Qualified Air Handling Unit technician. Absolutely disgraceful carry on, the man is now out of a job and to be told like that. Ive said it for year the whole organisation should be burnt to the ground, another name on the list of fellas being fucked over, this is possibly the worst
He didnāt get on of the 12 year Con-tracts
I was asking a rhetorical question really because my understanding from a mutual friend was he was just home from Oz when he was brought into the squad first and didnāt actually have a job lined up when the opportunity aroseā¦
Can anyone actually confirm if he is or is not leaving Munster? Your fellow cookie above Lionel suggested he isnāt
Surely Munster have the wherewithal to issue a statement to clarify the situation? Theyāve only had all day.
It seems ruari o Connor was off.
The player knew exactly where he stood.
The team decided to give him a gift with the other players at the end of season party
So he is leaving and already knew this?
I donāt know if he is leaving. Munster havenāt said he is. The players organised an end of season piss up and made a presentation assuming he was leaving.
Appears that Munster were hedging their bets on their tighthead options with Jager not having made a decision until last weekā¦as it stands I have seen no formal announcement on either Bartley or Alatoaā¦and Munster have come out and communicated a list of players leaving the province with no mention of either of those lads
Thatās it.
O Connor stirred the pot here.
So letās say Munster have mainly used four tighthead props this season - Ryan, Jager, Bartley and Alaalatoa.
Ryan was retiring, Jager had ongoing concussion issues and has retired and now the other two are still hanging on to find out if they are being kept?
Wasnāt alalatoa only ever a short term injury cover signing?
They have also signed two tightheads
That was the plan anyway initially
