Munster Senior Hurling Championship 2023 (Part 1)

Might be time for the Big Dog, the lads are floundering here.

Wasting a generation they will never again have.

Like Ballymun Kickhams, its quite sad.

Non club men like yourself will alright

County medals are used to plug the drains around here ffs.

The ones who put the work in, but get the least out.

Byrnes, Lynch and Gillane have two county titles, is it?

That’s a more than acceptable return considering the supporting cast they’ve had while also competing with Kilmallock & Na Piarsaigh sides who’ve gone on to Croke Park in that time.

If patrickswell had the pick of west limerick like ballyhea have the pick of west clare, they’d have won an all ireland as well*

Ballyhea didnt win an all ireland but you’d swear they had with the shite talked on here

Patrickswell is a tiny village and they constantly punch above their weight

Is there no hurling in West Limerick?

They have a population of less than a thousand, you have lads having a cut off them here, you would know half these lads are all talk, spend most of their day on the internet instead of helping at grass roots. A lad like @peddlerscross who is only a young lad wasting his life on an internet forum when he should be helping the next generation of Tipperary lads compete.

There is, that why they aren’t plucked for clubs inside. Its fairly logical. Are you a bit slow ?

Is Patrickwell’s supporting cast not fairly good?

Its good by tipp club standards but theyre fourth best in limerick possibly 5th. Its just a better standard all round

Only one senior club (Adare). Six Intermediate clubs - Newcastle West, Croagh/Kilfinny, Feohanagh, Granagh/Ballingarry, Knockaderry, St Kierans.

The townies are the only ones there not seriously punching above their weight

Sure the lads all have county medals already. They’re grand.

Considering the ridiculous depth of talent that Na Piarsaigh have, every time one of the other teams breaks that is a serious achievement. Now Na Piarsaigh’s dominance won’t last forever, but it’s probably Doon who are best-positioned in terms of age profile & talent to take the mantle rather than the Well. But then Doon are Doon; until they win their first, there will be a mental block of sorts.

The Well’s supporting case is decent but would have a few weak links, which aren’t really visible in Na Piarsaigh. You could argue that Adrian Breen is Na Piarsaigh’s 4th or 5th best forward, and he’s an absolutely lethal sharpshooter at club level.

Nap have very little coming in behind this generation and will fall behind monaleen and mungret through sheer weight of numbers

Plucked?

How does that compare to notorious hurling country of West Clare?
