Thought Cork were dead and buried twice in that half.
Is it Tipperary (are back after two consecutive draws) that are going out of the Championship as things currently stand at half time?
Poor auld @johnnysachs has painted himself into a corner with all the essays he has written about how Tipp are back and how he doesn’t rate Clare. He was at pains to tell us that Clare are bang average and the fact they didn’t hammer Waterford in the first half bore it out.
What does that say of Tipp? His methodology is looking a bit flawed now

That was a very good last few minutes to the half for Cork. After Limerick got the second goal there was a real chance of Cork getting battered up to half time but they steadied the ship very well. I think I’d back them to just about get the job done. Limerick have bad ju-ju over them and don’t seem interested enough in the actual hurling.
