Very very predictable first half.
Cork will be happy enough to be only 4 behind. They were very poor for most of that first half.
Waterford looked to be gassing a bit there 7-8 minutes before the break. Important last score from Callum Lyons.
Waterford free taking and placed balls in general is just septic.

Cork havent got out of first gear. Very poor. Passive almost. Waiting for an easy ball to break their way rather than try and dog it out. Standing while striking and getting blocked down. They lack a bit of cut. Dalton gave them a small bit of that last year and seemed to bring a few others with him. Millerick is in trouble in the corner. They need to make a change there fast.

Cork - Clare on GAAGO as well next Sunday.
Theyll hardly see a load of subscriptions for that game should Cork lose here. Level of apathy from both sets of supporters will be off the scale.

Added a lot of physicality. At least stopped Clare and Conlon in particular coming out with easy uncontested ball and made it a contest.

He is like another WOD- but you don’t really want him hitting ball. He was immense today.
Direct running had clare on their heels too. He was impressive i thought

Limericks subs added impetus while every Clare sub was a couple of levels below the man they replaced. We completely lost the middle third once Flanagan and Kelly were added to it. GUBU enough stuff from Clare - while not 9 points the better side they were comfortably in control and shat the bed.
