That Dublin team were as inconsistent as you’ll ever see at that level. Knocked out by Antrim in 2010, then very close to Tipp in the 2011 AI semi. Truly awful in 2012, then beating KK and winning Leinster in 2013.

They were only good in odd numbered years back then. Appeared in their first Leinster final in years in 2009, the league title in 2011 and that run in 2013. That ended when Dalo left obviously, although they still managed to knock Limerick out of the 2015 championship if I remember correctly.

Big grant pot available from Munster GAA; they are begging to give it out. Did an application last year thinking we would get 5 or 6 thousand got 20k.

Finishing off both terraces behind the goals be the next priority in Walsh park. That would fit another 2/3000 in there, it would pay for itself in 2/3 years.

The old stand/mackey stand/cusack park could all do with an uplift too.
They’d probably better off spend big on these than on clubs.

Would Wateford home matches really attract 3k additional supporters? They would be need to be motoring better than they have been in my view to test the additional capacity. Perhaps they will be going better n time to come and in that sense it would be a good investment in the long run

I was sitting next to a Cork friend at that match and when ROD got the 1st yellow we both turned to each other and said he will get a 2nd yellow before too long, us two and probably several thousand more said same

50 is a bit steep (and 40 for a terrace is very dear). Munster council could do with knowing that this incredibly popular product they have could easily turn unpopular with some gouging
