Traffic was also chaos after the game a few weeks back so plenty cork fans sat stewing for hours in traffic to run salt into an open woundâŚis say will be plenty cork fans going nonetheless
Itâs a Munster final, of course theyâll travel. Youâd be better off parking inside in town though.
AgreedâŚas a seasoned thomond visitor I parked in Harveyâs quay better walking there after than refereeing the kids for hours in the car
A good walk after it, maybe with a small stop for âwanâ is far better than just joining the queue of lads on the road.
Does the Shannon rugby club bar ever open up on match days in the Gaelic grounds?
Whatâs your thoughts on using bad language at games? More so on the terrace?
I had two separate Corks ask me to be mindful of their kids and to stop using bad language last day.
Greedy greedy bastards!!
50 quid is a euro a minute for the Cork fans
If a fella doesnât mind a bit of extra walking, thereâs loads of space on OâConnell Avenue and South Circular Road. Parking outside Mary I is only adding 10 minutes to the walk really and much handier get away.
I was gonna suggest same earlier. Ive parked outside Mary I a few times⌠not ideal if kids are in tow.
A bit far for them alright but could break it up with a pitstop at the shop. No winning really, either that or sitting in traffic.
Saw a load of Cork young lads parked outside Mary I early the last day. Iâd say they were ex-Mary I as they were going to Fennesseys and then Paddy Kellyâs before the match.
Iâd say they were going back in during the match
I never heard of it opening to tell you the truth. Bar the day Offaly were playing in the GG and there was a rugby match on in TP at the same time. All the Offaly fans streamed in there only to wonder why there was no nets on the goals.
You can try the Limerick Lawn Tennis club if youâre looking for a Fancy Dan pint.
Iâm not - I parked outside Fredaâs last Sunday and walked by it and was thinking given the lack of options and the ample space inside the gates that they would surely draw a crowd on Munster final day if they had any interest
Nice walk.
The bar manager was a Kerry Gaa man so there must be other reasons.
Not sure where you are coming from but if you come through OâBriens Bridge itâs bound to be very quiet around the Country Club and Caherdavin Heights. Much less of a walk.
If youâre bringing kids onto terrace donât know what youâd expect
Thatâs what i said.
Iâm still shook really⌠you expect to policed online- not on a terrace.
I walk in from SCR. 20 mins to sextons. 2 pints. 20 mins to Gaelic grounds. And the same on the way home. 2 can turn to three and a stop in Charlieâs or Fennesys may be added depending on other factors
