Munster SHC 2021

Yeah I think he offers more from the bench than the rest, and we need impact from the bench too.

Barry Murphy must be miles off it - he is some man to snaffle a goal

Big Diarmuid Oā€™Sullivan is the brains of the operation, he has at least seven puck out strategies devised.

even if they got 20 metres of space to run into theyā€™d be running into Hayes and Byrnes and getting sent out again just as quick

If they still had him they could just get the goalie to pass him the ball and heā€™d boom it over from full back.

Thurles is a proper pitch where Cork will be able to burn it up similar to 2017/2018 where they were never beaten in 5 games.

Limerick just about scraped past the worst Kilkenny team in 30 years there in 2018 and remain unproven on the finest sod in the country.

Just back from injury, from what I hear, heā€™ll play a part yet.

good - he is a big option off the bench. He has that knack and bauldness to grab a goal that we are lacking

They canā€™t match up anywhere mate. And neither can Tipp. It really is just best if you all accept this now rather than trying to raise your hopes. Resistance is futile against the Mean Machine.

A great bit of stuff. Ridiculous work rate.

No no, Kingston will just run onto the puckout around midfield and Bobā€™s your uncle and Fannyā€™s your aunt.

Iā€™m trying to figure out where DOD, WOD, Hego, Lynch and Morrissey are going to be for all this? Oh yes, the full press

he thinks weā€™ll push 8 inside their 45 and leave everyone else inside our 45?

Iā€™ve yet to see a pitch win a long puckout or work one out from the back. Itā€™s a piece of ground you see, with grass on it. It doesnā€™t have arms, legs, a brain, canā€™t make decisions etc. Actually come to think of it, Damien Cahalane only has 2 out of 4 of those things soā€¦ :man_shrugging:

He thinks weā€™ll push right up. Sure our boys will only be delighted to see Donaghue and Cahalane have the ball on their own 21,why in Godā€™s name would we want to prevent that?

do you see he got cramp up full forward Saturday night, I must admit i was scratching my head as to how he got up there

If they donā€™t start Cahalane at 3 itā€™s Eoin Cadoganā€¦heā€™d want to have his dinner eaten for Seamie Flanaganā€™s Annual Tour of Semple Stadium which departs at 7pm with room for 1 passenger

Itā€™s been about four or five years since I walked on the pitch in thurles, I couldnā€™t get over how bad it was. Lumpy, riddled with divots, grass uneven and too long. A cabbage patch. Have they done any work to upgrade it since?

Hadnā€™t they awful issues with it last year or year before. A poor surface nowadays

It can be poor from December to March due to overuse and an issue with the sun getting at it, but itā€™s always perfect for summer.

In fairness it was late in the season when I stood on it but Iā€™ve been on a lot of club pitches in better shape. My father whoā€™d played everywhere used to speak almost reverentially about the surface in Thurles.
