Heat are going on 28 in Chicago, not going well for them so far, down 13 in the 2nd
Jeff Green with a buzzer beater winner for C’s there @ Cavs
Heat are gonna walk this game, celtics are gone in round one.
Huge play there from Butler, Heat not excastly looking hot here
Birdman on now, game over
Heat 7 down with less than 7 on the clock
Gonna be some finish
Heat down by 7 with 4 on the clock. Wades knee looks crocked, Lebron not feeling it tonight…yet
Heat down by 9, disappointing losing their streak to a Chicago team missing Noah, Hamilton, Bellinelli not to mention Derrick Rose. Their being led tonight by Carlos fucking Boozer ffs
Flagrant on Lebron, his 1st since 07
Kirk Hinrich:clap:
94-89 to the Bulls, 1.24 on the clock. Bulls led by 9 with 2 on the clock
Bulls have it, Lakers record lives for another 40 years:clap:
Final score Chicago 101-Miami 97 The streak is OVER
Bombastic victory for Chicago basketball, serious contenders if they get to play with a full hand
Fair balls to Miami all the same, it was good while it lasted. This thread can slip back into obscurity now I suppose until the playoffs:(
Lakers still only about 60/40 to make that btw
Kobe’s ankle fucked there, looked serious. He’s been doing mental minutes lately to try and keep his guarantee of the misfiring Lakers making the playoffs but that’ll take it’s toll on anyone let alone a 34yo playing at this level. They only just beat the warriors and hole a 1 game adv over the Jazz with 2 regular season games to play, Jazz hold the tiebreak though and have the easier run-in(on paper). On a knife edge but Im afraid for Lakerland, no Kobe, no party.
Torn ACL confirmed. That’s it for the Lakers. Too late even for a Ray Lewis type miracle recovery. Phil Jackson pissing his hole laughing.
Karmas a bitch
Thinks it’s his Achilles that’s gone which is even worse than an ACL.
My old fb buddy, there’ll never be another like him

Los Angeles Lakers’ star Kobe Bryant took to Facebook early today to vent his frustration over an injury that appears likely to end his season, if not his career.
Bryant, 34, suffered what the team called a likely torn Achilles’ tendon in the closing minutes of Friday night’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
The All-Star shooting guard, who has carried the Lakers all season, hobbled to the free throw line after the injury to take his two free throws for being fouled. He hit them both, tying the game 108-108, before going to the locker room.
“All the training and sacrifice just flew out the window with one step that I’ve done millions of times! The frustration is unbearable. The anger is rage. Why the hell did this happen?!? Makes no damn sense,” the player wrote on his Facebook page.
Bryant, who is expected to have an MRI today to confirm whether he tore his Achilles’ tendon, wrestled with his impending fate through his stream-of consciousness-post, wondering whether he would overcome his injury and make it back on the court for another season.
“Now I’m supposed to come back from this and be the same player Or better at 35?!? How in the world am I supposed to do that??” he wrote. “I have NO CLUE. Do I have the consistent will to overcome this thing? Maybe I should break out the rocking chair and reminisce on the career that was. Maybe this is how my book ends. Maybe Father Time has defeated me…”
At the very least, the injury looks like the frustrating end to what has been a frustrating season for the shooting guard. Even though the Lakers added perennial all-stars center Dwight Howard and point guard Steve Nash, the team is in danger of missing the playoffs for just the second time in the 17 seasons Bryant has been with Los Angeles.
“One day, the beginning of a new career journey will commence. Today is NOT that day,” Bryant wrote.
Bryant’s declaration has received over 250,000 likes on Facebook since it was posted.

The opposite twist of momentum here, stick with the Kobe-less Lakers v banged up San Antonio
Heat v Bucks, Heat in 4
Bucks match up better than most v Miami but if Heat really up for it this ones a sweep
OKC v Thunder, Thunder in 5
I’ll give Harden one here(and Lin) but realistically it’s a question of how much KD, Westbrool, Sergre, Sefalosha etc want to bury the dagger that’s been doing the rounds
