Im going out on a limb here and picking Grizzlies in 6. They match up well against Thunder who will feel the loss of Westbrook a lot more against the grizzled grizzlies than they did against the Rockets
San Antonio v Golden State
Fascinating series in store. Seth Curry has been the sensation of the playoffs so far but with Tony Parker in the form of his life the experienced Spurs should be able to progress here in 6

Heat v Miami
Bulls are unreal, they’ve regularly been missing 2 or 3 key starters all season and here they are in a semi final against the reigning champions. And Im not even including D Rose there. It was Bulls who put a halt to Heats record braking streak earlier in the year and they will abslolutely relish the challenge with rumours increasing that Rose’s return is imminent. He’d still be lacking match fitness though and Lebron and co should be able to see this one out albeit not without a scare or two along the way. Heat in 6
Knicks v Pacers
Knicks nearly slipped up against Boston and the Pacers are a wily bunch but Carmelo should be able to see this one through safely enough setting up a mouthwatering final against Miami. Knicks in 6
Heat v Miami 
Hard to argue with any of that, the loss of Westbrook has been huge for OKC and they’ll stumble along for a bit, but would need a miracle to make it the whole way.
In reality, its just a case of lining up to see who Lebron and the Heat beat in the Final really.

Knicks in trouble here. HT in MSG and NY have seen their 13pt 2nd Q lead whittled down to 5. Carmelo looks like a shadow of the player he was in the regular season. Charles Barkley and Shaq have both just flip-flopped their original series predictions and now go for the Pacers. Spike Lee looked a little stunned looking at the end of the 2nd there, and no wonder, with 2 home games coming up for Indiana it’s win or bust for his beloved Knicks tonight.
Melo led the Knicks on a 30-2 run in the 4th to take a 98-71 with about 2 to play. Despite the scoreline the Knicks have not played particularly well(Melo shooting less than 50% again and Smith not connecting at all) but got it going when it counted most. 2 ways you can look at it, A their lucky(Pacers with 20odd turnovers tonight) or B, It was more peripheral players eg Shumpert and Prigioni who stepped up tonight so they’ll be a genuine threat to Miami if and when they do start firing on all cylindars. Will be interesting if Shaq and Barkley do a reverse flip flop hop here on their HT shouts
Spurs down 10 heading into the 4th. They were down 18 with 4 left on the clock in the opener but got the win in 2nd ot, the Golden State young guns gonna have to hold on here to have any hope in the series. Curry has been quiet enough so far tonight but Klay Thompson has been sensational already on 34 for the evening.
Bulls got decimated by Heat which was on the cards after embarrassing Miami in South Beach with their 3rd team in Game 1.
