They can legally make money through endorsements, image rights and marketing. They cannot be paid by the colleges though.

Also do the teams with the biggest followers necessarily have the best programmes? Iād say a college likeā¦ I donāt know, University of Chicago or Duke or Columbia or Yale or something like that might have a huge following with shit teams so the endorsements might be worth a lot there even though the teams suck (maybe they suck, I know nothing about college football)
And could they not change colleges before? Why not, canāt every student do that?
They could transfer before but you had to sit out a season or do a year in junior college. Now you can transfer and play that season.

Sam Howell showed a few glimpses of his ability but his draft stock took a hit. Heās a local boy so the Panthers might draft him in the 2nd round.
Howellās stock had slipped as he lost all his weapons from last year and is playing behind a bad O line. Think someone is going to get a solid enough QB in him on day 2 of the draft.
Would take him over Malik Willis and Carson Strong who will also be in the late day 1/early day 2 mix
Are Jags locked in at #1? I think the Texans would be more inclined to go OL. At this stage of the draft process, itās always better to go with the value. A lot can happen through testing and medicals. You can forget about a QB so can he jump the pass rushers (Jags obsessed with edge rushers)? Given Lawrenceās struggles, Neal is probably the smart choice. So yeah, donāt mind that.
