Neil Lennon

Donā€™t let the sectarian bastards grind you down, Lenny.

Dominic Cervi on Twitter:

Well done Hoops! AND GET OFF OF OUR MANAGER!!

Neil Lennon is a hero of mine. What is his breaking point though? Attacked on the street and beaten unconscious. Attacked in his car when out with his partner. Death threats. Bombs. Some other cunt attempted to drive him off the road when he was on the motorway accompanied in the car by his young daughter. And now attacked standing on the side of he pitch. Yet still he comes back for more. Straight onto the pitch and down to acknowledge the Celtic support at the end. Legend.

The bravery of the man is unmeasurable.

God bless him and please pray for his continued safety.

Hear hear.

And I hope the away support get home safely from that scumpit too.

Very disturbing events.

You wouldnā€™t be surprised if he walked away. He loves his job obviously, has spoken about the privilege of managing Celtic. But why should he have to put up with that? Celtic should be looking for assurances from the Scottish state and the SFA that they acknowledge this problem and will do everything in their power to stamp it out.

@DMeyler David Meyler
Thereā€™s only one Neil Lennon! #hoops

I too would wonder how much more of this he can take.

People will be hunting this diet hun scumbag down.

Alan Thompson.

Sunday should primarily be a celebration. A celebration of a man called Neil Lennon. Let the rest take care of itself.

Sunday May 15, 2011 = Neil Lennon Day.

Despicable shit. The sectarians are trying to drive him out again.

its getting more like belfast celtic mark 2

fuck scotland

I must say that two of my colleagues here this morning, both from the hun side of Glasgow, expressed their utter disgust at what is happening to Neil Lennon. Hearts should be docked points and many of them for this. The treatment of this great man has been beyond belief, I donā€™t think I can recall this kind of thing happening to Celtic staff even during the darkest days of the troubles.

Neil Lennon and the Celtic team can be assured of a sincere and hearty welcome to Australia when they play my beloved Central Coast Mariners on July 3rd at ANZ Stadium in Sydney (they also play in Melbourne against some wanker team and in Perth against Robbie Fowlerā€™s Glory).

Iā€™ll be at it with the Fitzy family and the Mariners massive. I do have a dilemma - do I wear my Mariners (a team I have taken to my bosom and have supported rabidly through 3 grand final losses) or do I wear my Ireland shirt (donā€™t have a Celtic shirt) as a sign of my support for my also beloved Celtic?

I will naturally post a full review of the game and the immense tactical battle it will be between two teams who play the game as it should be played and whats more, in the spirit it should be played in.

Bravo Neil Lennon. Bravo Celtic. Bravo Graham Arnold. Bravo the Mariners     :pint:

I dont recall MON ever getting the same treatment. Not sure an Irish catholic from Norn Iron is the sole issue.

July 3rd - should be a cracker. actually my mob have a corporate box there, will see what can be done.

didnt realise there was a german side of Glasgow.

Will you be going yourself KIB Man?

I have resolved to wear my Mariners shirt for the first half and my Ireland shirt for the second, crucial, half.

Neil Lennon on Twitter:

Donā€™t let what happened to me tonight take the shine off a wonderful team performance. I donā€™t walk alone.

Nice.

If I can get free tickets will send you a PM. Think they only have them for shite like NRL and AFL though.

Des Cahilll and Aine Lawlor on Morning Ireland this morning were discussing how internet forums and tensions between Celtic and Rangers fans may have led to incidents like last night. Deary me. One Neil Lennon!

I think itā€™s time to dissolve this league and all itā€™s clubs.
