Horrendous effort
Jesus O’Neills are really just doing a copy and paste job with the design of their recently launched jerseys.
The 2024 and 2026 Monaghan jersey are almost identical.
Have you seen the Offaly ones?
Granted O’Neills will give the counties 3 or 4 designs, and the players reps and county board will choose.
Coventry City 1991/92 would have been proud of this rave special and its shattered glass shadow effects. Though it probably needed a collar because the rave special association football jerseys of the early 1990s manufactured by the likes of Ribeiro and Bukta pretty much all had a collar.
The “Activ8” logo might as well be the SEMINAL English midlands rave outfit Altern-8.
In fact Altern-8 had a track called Activ-8, the video for which was partly filmed outside the infamous Shelley’s Laserdome in Stoke the night before Down beat Meath in the 1991 All-Ireland football final.

O’Neills are afraid to take a chance on new designs it seems, constantly playing it safe.
I can guarantee you O’Neills throw them a curve ball or two, a la Kerry colours, but the counties rarely ever go for it.

Its in O’Neills interest for the jersey to be somewhat different to get them selling.
By the way, the cost of a GAA jersey is astronomical nowadays. Actually be cheaper for a group of supporters to do a whiparound and buy a set of 30 than buy them individually.

They had that as a special jersey they never played in, in 2021. There was uproar from the yerra’s cause they didn’t play in it for their fatal AISF against Tyrone.
It was a commemorative jersey. Never intended to play in it iirc
