New jersey in GAA

or the 3 stripes over the shoulder down to the shorts like Adidas circa 1991

For KK you pedantic bollix

When getting ready to move back at the tail end of 2020 I realised I had the bones of a dozen or so old gaa jerseys and training tops from the five gaa clubs I have played for. I never really wear the older ones any more but didn’t want to throw them out or just bring them with me to sit in a drawer for perpetuity either.

So a friend of my mother in law is a pretty big wheel in the ICA and can turn her hand to anything. I sent her over a bag of them well over a year ago and told her to do whatever she saw fit with them.

Got four of them back this morning refurbished into cushion covers which will adorn my office for years to come. She is working on a larger patch work effort of my Clonlara jerseys which she reckons she will have completed by late summer. They can just as easily be put into a picture frame given the way she stitched the neck and sleeves.

Smart lad, rob the subs jerseys. Not your first rodeo.

Is that a Rahoon/Newcastle jersey in the middle?

No but I hurled with a chap from there in said jersey

I was going to comment he was a bit of a benchwarmer!!

I had @Big_Dan_Campbell down as an absolute hatchet man of a full back always as opposed to an actual hurler at 6.

And you are bang on the money. Never rob your own number

JCB logo on the front of the middle one?

Yes, it would be from around the time you doxed me to MW for my tongue in cheek posts on hoganstand

That top one is Naomh Barrog I’d say

I’ll dox you again for pinching his Jersey

I’m going to make it my business to convince @Big_Dan_Campbell to finish out his playing career with Na Dubh Ghall under the stewardship of the great @Monkey_Allen

We don’t just accept anyone. He will obviously have to go through a series of trials.

Once he then has proved that he is sufficiently out of shape, slow enough and can’t kick the ball straight, we will offer him a contract.

As you know they are our non-negotiables.
