How?
donāt mind him; heās from Leix
Youāve a lot in common
Love a bit of ale. Newcastle Brown is an excellent drink but I wouldnāt have more than a couple of cans of it at a time because of the very sweet, almost chocolatey taste off it. Canāt understand the antipathy to ale here. McArdles or Smithwicks are both far better than the absolute dog piss that passes for lager in this country (in pubs at any rate).
Whats Kilkenny?
I supposed to find that alright for a couple of pints if I was feeling rough in the morning.
McArdles and Kilkenny are both quality. Laave it.
So itās an ale? If so, then I like ale.
Looks like it. Even though Iām from the place Iāve never drank the stuff
Thats mad. Akin to me saying Iām from Limerick and never having stabbed somebody in the head and stole their phone.
London Pride, Essex Nights and Old Speckled Hen are good shouts and easy to come by in London pubs.
My only ever encounter with Newcastle Brown Ale was when I was slumped over a chair in the airport bar in Birmingham after a day consisiting of me drowning myself in a sea of pisswater (brains beer and Old Rosie 7% cider), so I canāt really judge it.
Akin to artfoley saying heās from Liverpool saying heās never burgled a house of a football player
Its just how it is.

We got Youngs, Newcastle,Waggle,London, Greenes and a few more in the pub there yeserday and I went through the whole lot. Newcastle and Youngs definitly the stand-outs. A good ale pisses all over any lager and is the perfect antidote to those rare occasions your not in the form for a proper pint of stout:thumbsup:
