Next Manchester United Manager

My sources tell me that as the part of the deal to end his contract ā€œby mutual consentā€, David Moyes will get to pick his successor - itā€™s believed it will be Graeme Souness.

You have got it all wrong, lads. He is being backed by the board to the tune of 100m. Come feel the Moyesā€¦

Prophetic words spoken on 8 May 2013.

Context Art, context.

United are 7th and Fergie isnā€™t coming back.

Any right thinking football person understands that its utter lunacy to sack a manager with the proven track record of Moyes after a handful of games. What youā€™re dealing with though is a New York Stock Exchange Quoted Plc with a crowd of Yanks at the helm who know little or nothing about football and have fired 5 head coaches at their American football franchise in under a decade.

What would be disappointing is if Sir Alex (as has been reported in some cases) had a part in this sordid debacle. As youā€™ve said his own start and indeed his first half decade and more at the helm was very underwhelming. League finishes of 11, 2, 11, 13 & 6 in his first 5 seasons. Then in season 6, blew what looked like an impregnable lead to hand the title to a very ordinary Leeds United side.

They both started with cunts who didnt want to play and refs giving them fuck all

Sir Alex has spoken and the recommendation is Ryan Giggs as the the new chosen one.

Sir Alex Ferguson has backed Ryan Giggs to take over as Manchester United manager after Giggs revealed he had already been in touch with his former boss.

Giggs takes charge of United for the first time at home to Norwich on Saturday, having been placed in control on Tuesday in the wake of David Moyesā€™ dismissal.

The United legend held his first press conference on Friday, when he admitted he had already started to lean on Ferguson for advice.

Ryan Giggs admits it has been a difficult week, but says being named interim manager of Manchester United is the proudest moment of his career.

Giggs said: "He was the first person I picked up the phone to. Why wouldnā€™t I? Heā€™s been everything you can as a manager - a young manager, an experienced manager, a successful manager.

ā€œHeā€™s given me advice and told me heā€™s always at the end of the phone so that has given me a lot of comfort. Itā€™s good to know I can turn to the manager if I ever need him.ā€

Ferguson feels Giggs has what it takes to succeed in the managerial ranks although he is not favourite to take over from Moyes on a permanent basis going into his weekend debut.

ā€œI think that he [Giggs] is the one man they should go to really,ā€ Ferguson said at a charity dinner, according to the Daily Telegraph.

"Heā€™s got 20-odd years of experience at Manchester United. I signed him as a kid at 13 years of age. Heā€™s gone through the gamut of emotions at the club - heā€™s experienced all the highs and lows.

"He knows exactly whatā€™s needed to be a Manchester United player and I was so pleased he brought Paul Scholes back in, and Nicky Butt of course - two great professionals.

ā€œThey understand the club, they are hard workers, they are straight as a die. So you have got the right combinations there, thereā€™s no doubt about that.ā€

Giggs spoke with the media on Friday for the first time since he was appointed, and he said: "Iā€™d just like to say how proud I am to be managing for the remaining four games the club Iā€™ve supported all my life and been associated with for 26 years.

"Iā€™ve got to say this is the proudest moment of my life. The club has been the biggest part of my life since I was 14.

"Iā€™m proud, happy, a little bit nervous, but just like I am as a player, I canā€™t wait for the game on Saturday.

"The players have looked really good in training this week, they are all excited as well. Everyoneā€™s looking sharp and Iā€™ve just said to them ā€˜enjoy yourself, give the fans something to smile about in these four gamesā€™.

"Itā€™s been a frustrating season and we want to end the season on a high. It was a shock to me on Tuesday when I spoke to Ed (Woodward) and he informed me David was leaving and then asked me to take over - itā€™s been a whirlwind week for me.

"Itā€™s been different, itā€™s been chaotic. Iā€™m just getting a little taste, itā€™s my fourth day in the job and you can never imagine what you have to do, what it entails becoming a United manager.

ā€œIā€™d like to put on record my thanks to David for giving me my first chance in coaching. Itā€™s something I will always remember when he rang me in the summer and asked me to come on board.ā€

Dutch press confirming today that Van Gaal is new manager and Kluivert his assistant

Hope they run that cunt giggs out the gap. He has a lean and hungry look Iā€™d say.

Kluivert will be a great tutor for Van Persieā€¦

Now thats a surprise

This is gonna be fun. Spurs offered him a ball of money apparently.

Judging by whats gone on with certain players and moyes, van gaal and his take no prisoners approach could be the death knell to a lot of old trafford careers

Giggs is a solid 10 on the giddy scale, if he manages to rejuvenate the team heā€™ll dig himself in there like an Alabama tick

I would love it if norwich beat man utd a d sleep with giggsā€™ wife, absolutely love it

That would be a jelly and ice cream moment.

Is the cunt married?

Think so. At least he was when he was knobbing his brotherā€™s wife.
