Next SRFC manager

so who will be the next manager of irelands greatest club

the club that took on the GGA and beat them

would love magilton but not sure if we could afford him

Russell is another name mentioned

Would prefer to pick a manager outside Ireland

any suggestions?

Guardiola has been touted allright for this but id hate to see him impose his style of play on the Hoops, anything would be better than kenny at this stage tho

im not sure what the pay off to kenny is but that could hamper who we get

nutsy being mentioned again but doubt he would leave Hibs

The Burger King.

is he still doing media work

he was good on setanta

Damien richardson or alan Matthews.

The shams have spunked all their money, they’ll never learn.

Rico please, if only for his programme notes.

“Whether one is blessed with a prodigious flair for articulacy or merely entrusted with a basic monosyllabic uttering of contentment, the relevance of this coming season will stimulate in every green and white heart at least a temporary escalation in embellished eloquence, so as to allow all an opportunity to express the most wondrous sense of anticipation and excitement that lies within.”

“Whether one possesses the stoical stature of an empirical philosopher or a more mundane propensity for self-gratification, the cataclysmic effect of one’s removal from pole-position in the most senior league in the country could be most injurious.”

“If the remnants of my classical education at the sometimes not-so tender hands of the Christian Brothers of Donore Avenue and Drimnagh Castle serve me correctly, it was that Greek playmaker of old, Epicurus, who stated that ‘the misfortune of the wise is better than the prosperity of the fool.’”

“The last miles home on a long journey appear unending at the best of times, but traffic congestion when in sight of the homeland only serves to test further the resolve of those concerned.”

it must be the same dozen or so managers in that league who spend their careers traipsing from club to club inbetween sackings, like an expensive game of musical chairs

what a horrible existence for them, an awful way to earn a living in fairness to them

Reported for accuracy I hope.

Kenny has left some shambles behind, a lot of dross there on big 2 and 3 year contracts.

Welcome to the world of Tommy Carr and Val Andrews.

I agree - we only had real success when we went outside the league

same with Sligo to be fair

I’m sure Stephen kenny’s reported 200k pay off will cheer him up and keep him off the merry go round for a couple of years.

ok lads- im off to bed now- hold all further thoughts until tomorrow

That’s what happens when you give a few pound to lower class Dubs-they just lose the run of themselves and pish it up against a wall. They should’ve stayed in Milltown or even Ringsend they would have a much better class of supporter.

Hey TASE who’s this GGA that Rovers took on and beat? Something to do with the Gardai considering their following no doubt.

Long Story Short Scumrock Rovers didn’t have a pot to piss in a few years ago.The government built them a stadium. Some Muldoon TD from Kerry wouldn’t allow it to be a municipal stadium for some strange reason and TASE thinks this is a victory for his local Sunday pub league team. They couldn’t even sell out their ticket allocations last year.

Don’t forget the shams ripped off loads of people the same way rangers did. It would have been a wonderful gesture if they paid back some of the small businesses they ripped off out of their UEFA bounty. But they stuck to their failed formula of over-paying players and managers instead.

The Mick Wallace of the LOI so you’re telling me whiplash? I’ll have to keep an eye on that crowd from now on so. :strokechin:

No, Mick Wallace is the Mick Wallace of the LOI
