Nóirín O'Sullivan - Former Garda Commissioner

It’s at times like this we could do with @Garda_Sean_Horgan for a bit of inside info on the whole thing

The enquiry is the way forward. It draws the sting out of any situation for the person in the hot seat. They don’t care what it costs as they’re not playing with their own money.

Or from another one of the pigs that post on here.

That’s witty

That post won’t get the number of likes it deserves

Lads around here would run that in 6 minutes pal.

She should never have been given job in first place but the political figures who opposed her appointment were dismissed as shinners, trots, loony left -take your pick. That’s what passes for political discourse in Ireland yet we the people will still vote for the custodians of this hegemony as we don’t want to be seen as any of those things.
Ingenious really how the wheel stays spinning

Using “charitable status” as a source of finance. Gardaí in “10 years behind the times shock”.

What?

That poor lad is a bit harmless I think. Best leave him be.

Sounds like a cracking episode of the PAC going on today

Is it time for the weekly “full confidence in the commissioner” comment from the government?

33 years later, with most of the people involved probably dead, they’ll look into it.

Sure if there’s anything dodgy, she’ll lose it.

Opening day of the Charleton enquiry. Callanan should be going on his hols if he has any sense.
