That makes sense too I suppose, I was possibly an adult before I realised that was the proper name, which might be considered a disadvantage 
We called them Torytops
Thereās a Tory Hill in Limerick between Crecora and Croom. In fact, several years ago the two clubs had an underage amalgamation called Tory Gaels.
They played a very conservative brand of football.

āTorā is an old name for a hill though, isnāt it? Hill Hill, basically.
Something like calling Japanās largest mountain Mount Fuji when Fuji is the Japanese word for mountain.

Havenāt heard about hot rod in about thirty years.
Youād still see fellas going around with the hot rods on a trailer in the South East. No idea where the tracks are though.

RIP to the young girl. Is this a form of field racing as opposed to your traditional road racing? I remember a lad from that neck of the woods in college doing it during the summer when the field were dry and after being cut.
Looks like hot rod. I had cousins used to race it years ago.
