Nothing says Cork like

You installed a moat to keep the youths away?

Went to Wonderlights last night in Fota. Got a black Friday deal of about 40% off. Steep enough otherwise at 25 a head i think.

It was actually decent enough .

Still for a chap with a kids / g kids etc it’s out of reach
On a separate note - adult panto is on again above the Spailpin Fanach
It’s an annual thing and regulars travel from all over the country for it- mostly women
And its chockers every night
It’s absolutely filthy stuff but the minx’s love it.

Good stuff. Heading there next Saturday so hopefully will stay dry. Work pay for it at least. Did you avail of any of the food offerings?

I didn’t… the kids and mrs got hot chocolates after the lights but it was starting to rain at this point and we were parked up at the wildlife carpark so i was more focused on getting the troops in order to march than any food.

He’s the boyo who rails against having to pay the tolls heading to Croker. :smirk:

Are these lights separate to seeing Santa ?

Yes. Bastards cleaning up.

Was deffo worth it at the reduced rate… 25 per head is a tad steep but it is an enjoyable walk with the kids and shur, as the man says, you cant put a price on that

If we were to do both it would be north of €200

And the rest … there’s a little food market after it or before it depending where they park you.
Santa there is nice, we’ve done it twice. We’re going back in a couple of weeks. But That’s saucy for both alright but lookit… they’ll be telling you to fuck off in no time. If you can afford it , it would be a great evening for them. Just bring a flask of tay and sandwiches
