Nothing says Cork like

Dave Hannigan has a new book out on Roy Keane that sounds very Corkish

Not really, the early part (and the best part) about his early life has a lot of Cork but in the context of Ireland in the 80 s

He’s a great writer.

I meant it in a positive way. Is it a good book?

I’ll be staying clear of the beef….

Wilton was shit
Reopening soon or maybe even now
Unfortunately before it closed 2 families of travellers were pushing their weight around and the place went tits up
Can’t see it happening again

Was in the Wilton about 7 years ago for the roast and it was shite and very expensuve.

Mick Barry lofted the viaduct

It’s all I can think of anytime I pass it :man_shrugging:

My grandfather passed away in a nursing home near there in 2000. I’d often go down with my mother on a Sunday to visit him. They did an ICONIC carvery back then. They’d absolutely pile the plate with roast beef.

Brought Ben & Jerry out there for the carvery a good few years back. They pile it on alright, but it was fair run down. Roaster heaven.

I hope you told them that Mick Barry lofted the Viaduct
