Same complexion he could actually pass for his son

South Africa physically battering England here. 18-17 ahead.

And England get in for a great try.

26-24 SA

English referee Brace yellow cards the South African captain.

Penalty England to surely win it.

Referee has mugged South Africa here.

What a test match.

England could have had 3 or 4 yellows in 2nd half with no complaints

Red card for the aussies early on here up against it. Down to 13 now for a spell I’d say yellow for beale

Eddie Jones teams always play on the edge.

The pack were on rollerskates for 2nd half. Shoddy from SA not to put game to bed but fiar play England they took their 2 chances

I never saw a side so completely battered up front win a game.
The ref had nowt to do with it either. He actually gave a few odd ones either way, but south Africa just didn’t take their chances, missed some kicks, and the English were lucky.
I genuinely believe the English rugby team are the thickest in World rugby by a chalk. Tim Tim nice but dim lads for the most part. The full back and Courtney Lawes gave classic interviews after the match.

South Africa don’t really hurt you on the score board with tries, no matter how dominant they are up front. If you hang in there against the Springboks, there’s always a chance.

Still have a chuckle to myself when I see a flustered england team asking roman poite IIRC) what to do about italy not being offside
