November Rugby Internationals (On the sesh with the Goys)

James Ryan is a lock from Paul O’Connell’s mould with ball in hand. The approach is to take a few steps (c.3-4) and then fall over.

Aussie No. 9 defended the try with his testicles.

Match kicked off at 8 and first half ended at 8.55. No wonder the queue for the bar is huge.

Lovely bullying from Porter

Ireland made a bollix of that. Then Porter in with the big I am.

Incredible atmosphere in landsdown road.

@gilgamboa surely they should have gone for a scrum there with the two hookers gone?

55 minutes half, a sport in bother

I will never understand bursting your bollox for 5 minutes to get the ball back, then kicking it 20 yards up the field back to them again

I’m at this (cc @Appendage - check your Snapchats). And it’s worse than an Ireland association football game under Kenny. Turgid stuff.

That first half went on forever.

How many times had you to stand up to let a fella past you

There really isn’t.

The stopping and starting and penalties for no apparent reason is so painful

Ah I’m sure there’s a fantastic atmosphere. Great music over the P. A. system, beer, sport, what more do you want…

I think there is a rule that because they had no hooker to bring on the scrum would have been uncontested and therefore Australia would have had to take an extra man off thereby going down to 13.

Uncontested scrum without the hooker

They were ok was one was a genuine injury I think

Always find this interesting.

So they would have been down to 13?

Yes going by that. One of them should carry it in their sock for reference.
