They’ve potentially 4 or 5 young local lads that should be capped in the next 5-10years (Forde, Gavin, Devine Sr and Murray Jr) all going well.

It’s absolutely fucking hilarious. It’s like watching the united shitshow. They can’t below themselves

He’s been part of a munster backline that has conceded 150 points in the last 5 games…I don’t know can he have many complaints

I did. The train station…I actually figured out there is a return train after the match. I won’t get into the embarrassing detail around how I missed the fact in the first place

Maybe not average not nearly as good as he is at 4.

Have you not suggested Beirne should be played at six a number of times? I’m pretty sure you have.

There is going be a lot of change in the Irish 23 in the next few seasons.

You wouldn’t really about herring as he’s only 3rd or 4th choice.

From what I can see all the new rules in rugby are designing to swing the game back towards the new Zealand or Aussie style of game and away from the South African style.

Ireland seem to be still obsessing over South Africa.

I’d love to see Osbourne at 12. Maybe it comes back to Crowleys struggles and keeping aki beside him but it’s a little bit disappointing imo.

I would for Munster ahead of Peter o Mahoney and when you have Synman.

In the summer games v South Africa beirne wasn’t really impact the games like he does.

I’d have Prendergast in there ahead of him.

Just seen Bueadi Barrett isn’t playing. He did play poorly last week but New Zealand are very average side with Damien mckenezie at 10.

Injured

You’d be hoping at minimum Ireland will have parity up front anyway. Mckenzie will struggle then imo.

I’d love to know the reason why Ireland can produce second rows, back rows, tens and centres but can’t produce wings and scrum halves.

Just all cyclical

There isn’t many great 9s about at the moment. France have a few. SA have a few good ones but no standout.

Why would you suggest he should be played at six if he’s “a very average six”?

……

Farrell seems on giving Crowley every chance too. England never really replaced Wilkinson and France didn’t ever have a fly half of note for 20 odd years.

For all the talk of building towards the World Cup we are at nothing without a top class ten playing well. If it takes him two years to fully take over from sexton I think they’ll be happy enough.

They have the chance to create history winning three six nation titles in a row and there’s a natural break up coming with the lions.
