The Ireland ‘A’ players brought the Churchill Cup to St. Dominic’s School in Tallaght ahead of their historic game at Tallaght Stadium on Friday night

Rising star Fergus McFadden signed autographs in St. Ann’s National School. The boys and girls will be cheering the lads on at Tallaght Stadium on Friday

The boys and girls from St. Mark’s Secondary School were delighted to meet Ireland ‘A’ captain Mick O’Driscoll and his team-mates who brought the Churchill Cup along for good measure

the small fella in the middle of the irish lads, and he’s also on the right hand side of the picture in a black tracksuit.

Anyone know if RTE plan to show France vs. the All Blacks on Saturday night?

I think Saturday’s game will be won and lost at the breakdown and I see South Africa coming out on top there and in the general forward battle. The intensity at the breakdown in the France-South Africa game was phenomenal and a couple of notches above what we saw in the Ireland-Australia match. Even at that, Australia dominated the breakdown area and South Africa will be more physical again. I think we need a specialist #7 and David Wallace, for all his good points, is not one of these. The Irish second rows are also likely to be in for a chastening experience against Matfield and Botha and I expect the backs to be living off scraps.

What about Brousseaux (sp) Bandage, will he have a big part to play?

You never answered my question about the photo

I think the entire back row will have a huge part to play but especially Burger. I think we’ll again see O’Driscoll putting his body on the line and turning over ball as if he was a flank forward on occasions. That man is a genius. I can’t emphasise enough how critical the breakdown is going to be.

I think you could be right but I feel the set pieces will be important also.

Yes, good shout. Anybody know who’s officiating? The referee’s interpretation at scrum time could have a crucial bearing on the outcome.

As it should be:thumbsup:[/quote]

Apart from POC chooses to support one group of ‘locals’ ahead of another. As I said I like POC just think he lacked bit of cop on in this instance. The moral outcry from some on here had one of Ulster players decided to shaft other provinces in similar manner would have been something to behold!

great to see rogbee in tallaght- the muncipal stadium is really a great asset for SDCC - glad that the bigotphiles in the GGA are on the outside looking in & will never play there

well done the IRFU

Id reckon it could be won and lost on the scoreboard the way things are shaping up,Bandage knows fuck all about Rugby.

Yeah its on RTE

George Hamilton commentating I’d say too-that’s why he’s on the big bucks Lar.

Anyone see the interview there with Matt Williams on Setanta?

Came across very well I thought. It’s amazing when you keep a show as simple as a sportsperson talking about his career how entertaining it can be.

Go easy.
