November Rugby Internationals (On the sesh with the Goys)

Is the A match on tv tonight???

No dont think so. How Henry isn’t playing is beyond me. Also fact Fogarty has been picked ahead of both Brady and Kyriacou just strikes me as a very poor judgement call and a lack of research into form to be honest.

Henry i agree with, the rest of what you said flies in the face of an incredible managerial career that DK has had to date. he doesn’t do “lack of research”.

Fogarty is a very improved player this year, now i would even try to compare him to the other 2, as i haven’t seen much of Brady and i only remember Kyriacou as average from before, he may well be much better now.

I have a feeling with the injury crisis in the front row, and hooker in particular, he is looking at someone who he could put in for a big game, should the shit really hit the fan. Fogarty has more big game experience than the other i suspect.

I’m only guessing at to what Kidney is up to though.

What does Ryle Nugent make of it?

In the absence of the “Beast”, expect former hooker BJ Botha to get stuck in at tight head and grab this match by the balls for South Africa.

Thought the “Beast” was playing? Wouldn’t rate him that highly. Had a great first test against the lions but was destroyed in the scrum in the third test.

How good is Botha?

was that Du Preez lad that Munster signed called up to the huguenot national team???

I hate you, white South African bastards:guns::guns::guns:

what about the black ones?

Prospect of couple of great games today. Major concern for us I feel is our bench which looks very weak. Inclusion of Cronin and Buckley is a little bemusing as if things go wrong in either scrum or in lineout surely Kyricaou or Court would have been better and more solid inclusions. BJ Botha is sensible inclusion for the Boks and he has potential to cause us trouble in the scrums
All in all I am pretty confident in Kidney’s abilities and inclusion of Sexton was the correct call. Ireland to win.

think buckley deserves his spot on bench after last week. he hasn’t got up to top level scrummaging yet but he was brilliant around the park when he came on last week. his tackling at the fringes is second to none.

Best of luck to Johnny out there today-hope he has an unbelievable game as I never want to see O’Gara in a green number 10 jersey again.

Scrum is a mess, ref not helping wrt Botha on Healy but Healy is seriously weak still, but he has to learn. Sexto has had a solid half, one break for posts butchered a decent chance but wouldn’t mind that much. BOD has mixed sublime with some foolish kicks unfortunately. Huge collisions going in.

Probably lucky only to be four down at half time. Scrum is killing with Botha destroying Healy by looks of it which isn’t surprising. Could have done with better prop options than Buckley on bench too and all this bollix about players learning doesn’t really wash with me. SA seem to be getting to grips with lineout too. Sexton had a fine opening 40 there and hopefully will get bit more space in second half. Darcy looks sharp too as did P Wallace when he was on.

TOLhas made couple of good breaks but is so ponderous at times its untrue. Stringer on second half please.

Are you mental, he’s our best player along with Heaslip, Sexton and Kearney.

We are very slow to the breakdown, and it looks intentional.

Ferris is a huge loss in this game.

He has made a few lovely breaks but has been far too slow at times. Sometimes its deliberate while at other times he has just simple been too slow to release it.
Seems to have quickened it up a bit in second half so far mind.

O’Leary is having a very good game today to be fair. Earls has been very poor. Our scrum is embarrassing We’ll be lucky to come out of this with our lives. As with all rugger matches, the atmosphere seems shite.

Lucky Steyn’s boots are off today. However I think tips game is gone from us with the loss of Leamy and Ferris. Hope to be proved wrong. By BOD’s immensely high standards this is a poor game for him so far apart from one astonishing break.

Thanks for the memories ROG.

Atta boy Johnny
