Views, flexibility, bravery to change opinion etc etc.

My understanding, which is surely clear, is Sam Pender had an armchair ride initially but alarm bells rang when he made his first sprint in around his eighth (8th) match & it became apparent he runs like a penguin.

Some consolation for him after Doon losing the final

You’d make a great group leader in a multi National with those characteristics

There are eerie smiliarities between the IRFU’s PROJECT Sam Prendergast and Fianna Fáil’s PROJECT Jim Gavin.

All elite level INTERNET operators know when to pivot and you pivoted in time on this one.

Spoken like a lad who doesnt understand the importance of the long slow run…

Much like Nathan Carter, you will never be free from Hermitage Green, Roisin O or Mundy.

I have to say hes starting to wear a bit thin.

Interesting game next Saturday against New Zealand.

Will Farrell stick with Prendergast ? Aki looked finished over the course of the lions tour and Henshaw is looking his age too.

Two years out from the World Cup and 1-10 looks fairly strong to me. Obviously Gibson park is a worry and you hope Crowley or at least one of the tens kicks on. 1-8 definitely looks very strong.

Could be an awful lot of issues 11-15.

It would have been gas if the fella who plays the harmonica in Hermitage Green played it ala Hendrix instead.

Furlong looks cooked as well tbh from a consistency pov

V strong at 2
We have one exceptional 2nd row and a few at same level a few notches below that

Are any of our back row starters still improving? Or are they all at or just past their peak?

Thought he was among leinsters best against us. Carried as well as he had in a long time i thought. His gametime really needs better management to try stretch out his dwindling reserves. Very overplayed last few seasons

vdf seems the one in that backrow whose performances have dipped. Be interesting to see where his form is in champions cup matches.

The exceptional second row could even end up being deployed in the back row? Doris probably at his peak, VDF and Conan probably past theirs? Seems to be obvious players coming through at eight and six, anyone at seven? Might kendellen kick on and be an option? The Leinsters have been hyping penny but he’s not really forced his way through into their team even yet.

Kendellan will struggle to break through for Munster IMO. Ahern if he can sort his injury issues could be a game changer, think McNabney in Ulster has something about him as well.

Penney and Hidnett in same category now …great club players but not much more

Izuchukwu or whatever he’s called at Ulster and Gleeson at Munster are both nailed on surely. The two Edogbos too if they can stay right.

VDF kicked up a level after his mid-20s if I recall correctly. Maybe kendellen or penny could still do similarly? Kendellen maybe a bit small for international level? Ahern could be anything yet. Hi. Izuchukwu and Baird kinda similar players, Baird still flattering to deceive IMO.
