Jamie Osbourne is starting 15 again it seems. Would you not give him a run at 12? He isn’t a better full back than Hugo Keenan and the other four centres are thirty plus.

I don’t really see the point of timoney, hardly a player for the future in an ageing team. Surely there’s younger players could be getting a run or brought through at seven? (No outstanding candidates jumping to mind, Hodnett top of the list probably). But otherwise it’s a good selection and it’s bringing a few younger players through.
Delighted for Tom Farrell. Deserved a cap a lot sooner imo.

As a Rugbix, I was hoping for a Crowley, Osborne, Stockdale 10, 12, 13.

Would you risk Stockdale at 13? Can be awful judging when to stay out andnwhen to come in in defence and thats on the wing, line as extra dwfender. 13 channel hardest channel on the field to defend. Whats the upside youre seeing?

Agreed. Crowley needs to really put his mark on matters. Its the Japs for fecks sake. But early kick offs have a weird habit of never finding top gear. That excuse wont wash for him tho.
