big lessons learnt yesterday by the goys…steep learning curve…the real benefit of yesterday will be seen in the 6 nations …if you don´t recycle at the breakdown you can´t except to win friendlies test matches…in Test rugby you got to go through the phases (even though the Aussies just ran straight through us for all their tries)…and at the breakdown its all about going through the front gate…the white line fever was evident in the Oirish team, we just couldn´t get our best footballers (?) on the ball…
I for one am delighted with the building blocks laid yesterday…Ireland are in a really good place…
You have to earn the right to go wide in test rogbee.
Anyone else notice Paul O’Connell’s attempt to move the ball out wide at one stage during the second half?
Hilarious
Yeah seen that pass. O’Connell should stick to
Crashing into rucks rather than passing.

Fuxake… these lads get paid money for this stuff?
I have always found it unbelievable that the lummoxes of any rugby team have little or no egg handling skills. Just goes to show how limited the ‘skill’ set is for many of the positions.
Spot on, I’ve seen Gaelic Football players take up Rugby in their twenties and they look far more natural playing it than some lads who have been playing Rugby all their lives…There’s not a chance a Rugby player would be able to convert to Gaelic Football in the same manner. It really is the game for the fat and unskilled.
Take a bunch of lads with fuck all between the ears… give them six months in the gym, give them a program of roids and throw up a few posters of rocky to keep them focused.
Your four fifths of the way to making a competitive AIL team.
Seek out some degenerate Ozzie and offer him a house and second chance at life and make him coach.
AIL winners 12 months later.

I read earlier a few of the Aussies have been fined for going out boozing- Before the match !
ustralia coach Ewen McKenzie has suspended six members of his squad ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Scotland after they were involved in a late-night drinking session in Dublin.
Wingers Adam Ashley Cooper and Nick Cummins as well as forwards Tatafu Polota-Nau, Benn Robinson and Liam Gill have all been stood down from the final Autumn international at Murrayfield.
A sixth player - Paddy Ryan - will serve his suspension in Australia’s final Spring Tour clash against Wales while nine other players have been “sanctioned” for breaching team rules ahead of the 32-15 victory over Ireland at the weekend.
Wallabies boss McKenzie has come down hard on his men after they went out drinking on Tuesday night.

Aussie Rugby players go on piss - Still spank professional Irish rugby team
Aussie Abbo AFL players go on piss - Get spanked by Irish amateur gaelic footballers
The Abbo’s are like the Indians, can’t handle their liquor.

Jez this is more embarrassing for Ireland than Australia! In fact it is hardly embarrassing at all for the Aussies
Felix Jones has been called :o
FFS he’ll be kilt!
surely a dose of Donners pranskterism is what is called for to lift the camp this week?
Murray slipped inside excellently there, but the most significant part of that move was from Gordon Darcy.
If the Irish rugby team is an all Ireland team then why is the first minister of Northern Ireland never involved in the player introductions before the start if the match?
Rory Besshhhhhhhhhhhhhhht. Again the influence of Darcy in turning over that NZ attack can not be understated.
I hope they haven’t shot their load in the first 20 minutes.
