That’s very impressive. What happens on a calm day or if Ireland got a summer and had a few months of calm days?
now, we use fossil fuels, thats where they need interconnectors with other countries for their renewables/nuclear, but i would hope that the more wind farms out in the sea there are, the more you can generate the less windy it is

Whatever happened to that plan to build a damn on the coast of Clare and then use a combination of tidal water and available wind energy to flood the inlet and generate hydro-electricity when needed?
