Would you not be at least as worried about Brady? He’s a good hurler but he’s looked like a right pushover to me in most of the games I’ve seen him in. Too easy to bully and not half aggressive enough.

he hasn’t hurled much for dublin there in last few years but i’d have a always seen him as a good hurler and a very strong athlete too…hopefully his head is right after all the injuries…think corcoran gives away too many soft frees…

While I don’t think the Dubs will have a better chance to beat Kilkenny in the Championship, I’d be surprised if they did win it. Like Kid would expect Kilkenny to prevail in a tight game by 3 or 4

Clare hurling manager Davy FitzgeraldClare manager Davy Fitzgerald feels that John Mullane was gullible in believing he had suggested the Waterford forward was finished.

A major row erupted after Waterford had defeated Clare in the Munster SHC semi final last Sunday when Mullane and Eoin Kelly went over and celebrated on front of Fitzgerald at the final whistle.

Mullane and the former Waterford manager then had words in the dressing room and it was later revealed that the De La Salle clubman had heard that Fitzgerald claimed he was finished as an inter county player.

Fitzgerald denies this claim and stated on Clare FM Radio that Mullane was the victim of some psychology before the match.

“I presume certain people in Waterford were trying to wind John Mullane to try and get a performance out of him, and they’d use any tactic to do that,” Fitzgerald said.

“Maybe John was a small bit gullible, believing some of that stuff and reacting the way he did. When I was down there [in Waterford], I got on great with him so it’s disappointing to see him like that. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s gone, it’s done, it’s dusted and I’m just interested in Clare going forward.”

getting nervous now…just looking at comments from cody this week…saying looking forwrad to a great game…he’s talking dublin up as equals…no better man to talk up a team and then go out and absolutely bury them…what kk did to cork in league final was not about winning the league it was about telling Cork and JBM to stay down…hope to fcuk it doesn’t go that way for Dubs today…questions over hineys,keaneys ,bradys match fitness as they’ve been out for so long…yet all 3 start…any season is poor if your relegated from league no matter how u much say you’re concentrating on championship…the whole thing is beginning to look like one last cavalry charge…hope to fcuk not…UP THE DUBS !!!.. :guns: :guns:

Probably the most sensible prediction alright. There’s a difference between what we all want the Dubs to be and what they’ve shown they can be to date. You never know though, they’re a live challenger anyway.

Was a wet day the last time Kilkenny were beaten in the championship. Was raining the day of the '09 final when Dublin gave them a bit of a rattle as well.
