We always win
The 1994 All-Ireland hurling final was a very easy defeat for Limerick people to get over given that they had won the Rose of Tralee the previous week.
Several Limerick supporters at the game told me that they didn’t mind losing as the main title had already been won by a Hurley, and the hurling was just bonus territory.
