Galway are meant to be decent. Meath and Kildare are probably best 2 teams in Leinster. I haven’t a clue about Ulster. Kerry are meant to be very strong this year again. That would make 4 x Minor All Ireland;s in a row. The Empire is going to strike back eventually and it will be biblical. Jim Gavin will bale just before it happens the schnakey cunt.
They already have 4 in a row, along with a large number of landslide victories in each year.
From memory it’s a while since anyone got within a reasonable score of them?
I’m pretty sure they’ve struggled over Cork the last few years. I’ll have a look now.
Cork lost to a point to them this year and by 5 last year.
They beat Cork by a point in 2015 and 2018. Both in Munster semi finals which was knockout. Beat them by 6 and 10 pts in 2016 and 2017
Informative
Leinster Minor Hurling Final:
Kilkenny 4-8 Dublin 3-10 at half time.
6-19 to 7-12 FT. Dublin win.
Best game of hurling ever played
Why was this game played today rather than before the Senior game tomorrow?
The Joe McDonagh final .
This was an absolute crackrer. Kilkenny got 2 goals in the first minute and 2 goals in the last minute but we got 6-19 in between. The hurling version of The Thrilla in Manilla. It reminded me of one of those epic Kilkenny v Wexford Leinster finals from the 70s or a Cork v Tipp from late 80s.
Kilkenny are fucking gas. Dublin have a big Tony Doran type full forward called Luke Swan. He has an absolute magnet of a catching hand and is well able to play too. He got 3-1 v Kilkenny in the Round Robin clash and another 3-1 yesterday as well as setting up another 1-3. It was glaringly obvious for anyone watching that Swan needed to be double marked with a sweeper (as Wexford minors did to good effect last Saturday) but Kilkenny just wouldn’t do it and Swan caused absolute havoc all day. Pride can be a blessing and a curse.
