Walsh had a blinder

Well done Cork. Better team won. Wanted it more

Yeah excellent. Hes a fucking tank

And he is more than good enough to be playing in the football final. As is O Callaghan

Very well. I actually thought he should have got MOTM

Hes a mile better than Downey

His use of the ball was absolutely awful for most of the game. Typified the Cork performance - won a world of ball, had no idea how to use it.

Downey had an excellent second half (as did Millerick). Both showed plenty of leadership.

Think MOTM was right.

First bit of form Downey has showed for the 21s this yr

Real jekyll and hyde performance and very un-Cork like. One of the few times we out-fought and out-worked an opposition team and grinded out a win with perseverance, physicality and a touch of cynicism but our use of the ball was shocking for the most part. Mind you it seems like we didnā€™t bother with a full-forward line and just said weā€™d win from long range points. Not sure if many lads stand-out as future seniors besides Millerick/Downey who are already involved. Thought Oā€™Connell, Brian Roche and Ryan Walsh were best outside of the backs who were very solid. Thank christ we won enough possession to win the game twice over.

He is a rotating half/full forward as far as I am concerned, regardless of where he plays for his club. He is definitely going to be an IC standard hurler.

O Callaghan

Who was given it? Doubt Carey will be given the senior job any time soon, that was very poor from KK in the second half.

I dont think anyone said he wasnā€™t. But his form has been in a drain since he played that game for the seniors

O connell

Think that is fair enough. We would have been in bother without his accuracy before we took over halfway through the second half.

None of the provincial winners in hurling have gone on to qualify for their respective finals so far this year.
Tipperary will be hoping to buck this trend tomorrow.

That trend will get a serious bucking

Great day for usā€¦ Always great beating Kilkenny.

Forwards play too much as individuals rather than a cohesive unit. Thatā€™s just bad coaching. They canā€™t use the excuse of seniors as none of the forwards were actually involved.
