Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 1)

There is a Limerick influence there alright

Heard Galway have a young Niland that is supposed to be savage at this level.

“Leo the Liar” as he’s known

Ah Leo is grand

Shur Twas him n Big Joe that made ye

Yeah a strong number of Kilcormac Killoughy players on that team. This Offaly side is the real deal then? An impressive result against Dublin anyway. Be great to see them back. How did they do in the Tony Forristal in 2019 cc @peddlerscross?

They supposedly have a ginormous full forward too who has bags of hurling

Got to the final v Cork iirc

Yeah found the results there. Lost to Tipp in the final. Cork conspicuous by their absence from the tournament at all by the looks of it. Be strange if they didn’t enter.

That’s what Leo would tell you anyway

Don’t be that guy

They’re didn’t enter it sure. Clare followed them then.

Why wouldn’t they enter? Give those young lads more high quality games.

It’s only an auld blitz mate

They learn how to strike down there before they can walk

Burnout has put a stop to all these blitzes.

Twas a good competition in the halcyon days.

Any Wexford team from those programmes? Surprised that Shane O’ Donnell’s name isn’t on what I assume is the Clare 2008 team list.

Edit: Actually come to think of it all the Wexford Tony Forristal teams are listed in the Wexford GAA bible.

Some amount of lads that play in these tournaments go on to do absolutely nothing of note even at club level or give it up entirely

Durlas Og must have some amount of lads making these panels every year that are never heard tell of again once they hit 19

The Forristal and Arrabawns are a pile of wank
