Credit to the sub who lobbed it in too. Too often lads go for glory and try and hit it low and hard.
And Wexford in 98â.
The great Paddy P
It did, itâs a shame to see that type trampish stuff rewarded. Offaly would have been far better off if the referee had given a black card and a penalty as there was only 10 minutes left anyway.
What that fucker did was twice as bad as last week, there was serious malicious in it
3 times in the last 8 days that a team with 14 men has reeled in a lead near the end. Derry fell just short against Galway in the minor last week but Armagh managed to salvage extra-time from 6 down and now Tipp stealing it from 6 down today.
A robbery, but weâll take the win.
The look of horror on all the Offaly fans faces after the goal went in, I nearly felt sorry for them, nearly.
Didnt see the game, but thats some disgraceful refereeing there. Tipp player puts the leg across and shoulders him from behind, clearest of trips and a stone wall free out. For a county like Offaly to miss out on an All Ireland when these sort of chances dont come around often is heartbreaking for them. Granted, many will say fuck Offaly, but whats wrong is wrong, and that was an absolute robbery aided by a terrible refereeing decision
Great result for Offaly. Had they won most of those players would have been alcoholics within a couple of years and amounted to nothing. Instead theyâll now be burned by a seething anger and sense of injustice which will ultimately drive them on to win senior All-Irelands.
The current Limerick team were driven on by losing agonisingly at minor. So too the 1993 generation which backboned Dublinâs five in a row. So too Clare 2013. So too the great Tyrone team. So too Armagh 2002. So too Clare 1995. Mayo of the last decade were built on All-Ireland minor final losers.
I was sure he was he going to blow for a free there. He was letting a good bit go alright but still.
Robbery. What happened today wasnât right. Fuck Tipp. This is like 2008 in Cusack Park.
Dive
Fuck OffalyâŚ
Jaysus, do it tonight or donât do it at al
Tipp are bringing it back to the steps of the cathedral this evening. Same as it ever was. Tradition.
Does Screeney have asthma?
Mentality Monsters.
You just knew Tipp would reel them in when 4 minutes went up on the board.
Adam Daly absolutely outstanding all through.
Damian Corbettâs red reminded me of Valverde against Atleti in the Copa Del Rey a few years back. You do what you have to in these games.
Was the Offaly man in the penalty area when Corbett throw the hurl. I felt it was a free myself but my uncle reckoned it should have been a penalty. As some noted on here a black card and pen would have been more beneficial for Offaly.
