other than the under 16 two years ago when they beat the sh1te out of galway, the munster minor last year and again this year limerick have nothing won.
essentially other than in terms of the record books it is irrelevant whether limerick win or lose the minor final. in fact they might be as well off losing the final considering the level of hype that will surround them should they win. mostly from people who won`t give two fcuks about their future

It would be nice to win for the single reason that it would get the monkey of a Limerick team winning an AI at Croke Park off our backs. If we lose it will be “same old Limerick” etc. Would break a mental barrier if nothing else.
Not the end of the world if they lose but would be nice to win it. More importantly there are some good players coming through the system for u-21 and (hopefully) senior which is more important than any silverware.

Limerick need to develop players with a winning mentality. When we get chances they must be seized.

thats a fair point. I do think limerick will win this and it is probably more important that they do than it was for the clare minors for the reasons you outlined
Donegal through to the minor final with a one point win.
Caught the last 20 minutes of it, not a great standard but the Donegal no. 7 and 10 looked like great prospects.
The no. 10 was called McBrearty so possibly a brother of Paddy. Donegal seemed to be have much better footballers but were a lot let physically developed than Dublin so it’s a great win for them.
