I listen to him on the hurling pod and I donā€™t think he was bemoaning anything. Canning had made a comment about being fired from the job on rte and he was asked about it. I donā€™t get the disdain for skehill I think heā€™s brilliant, really enjoy listening to him.

He means well but heā€™s too emotional to be on the line. Seems to like the limelight. Didnā€™t he go on Gogglebox which is consistent with his decision making as a goalie.

I firmly believe he feigned injury in the 2018 aif final. Happy enough to get the big round of applause and go off as the ā€œwounded soldierā€.

Skehill is famously short of fuse to the point that roasters will gladly go behind the goal in Kenny Park just to annoy him. I saw it working in person when Loughrea beat Cappy a few years back. Skehill roared out to this lad to ā€œgo back to Mullagh, ya fuckerā€ and the within minutes conceded a comical goal. Then more people went behind the goal to heckle Skehill even more.
