I pulled my groin last summer, the grass was slightly long and when I went to turn quickly it felt like the blades had become tangled in the grass and my foot didnāt turn with the rest of my body. Ouch.
Some Club in Ulster banned blades I believe after finding a correlation between their recent spate of them and players wearing blades. Iāve said before on this thread I thought it was just a lot of high profile ones being highlighted and being overhyped, but its getting quite baffling now.
I opted against the blades with the last pair of boots I bought anyway.
Players not strengthening their hamstrings appropriately causes imbalances in the knees.
The reason United banned blades was because of the cuts they inflicted on players when caught with them - nothing to do with secondary issues like knee injuries etc as far as I know.
Apparently Cluxton went straight to the dressing room at the final whistle yesterday and didnāt watch the trophy presentation. Was there anything written about why? Seems an odd thing to do.
Further to that his was pinting in Juryās Croke Park with Mossie Quinn after the game as well.
Bad form not staying for the presentation in fairness.
iāll bow to your superior knowledge rocko
I heard there are serious problems in the camp

Rumour done the rounds that O Gara was knocked unconscious at half time, I presume this was all bullshit?
I heard the whole Dublin team was involved in a roasting session with Cailin Loch Garman last night.
Were you there yourself? You may have been in the presence of padjo and not realised it.
A lot of famous people were in Juryās - me, Kieran McGeeney, Jugs, Bernie Flynn, Rocko to name but a few. Saw Cluxton with two tidy blondes - his bird and her sister, I speculated. Also saw Niall Quinn in Croke Park and, most bizarrely, the ref Pat McEneaney strolling out of The Globe at around 8.30pm. Then had the pleasure of chatting to formidable Kilanerin full forward duo Aodhan Kavanagh and a shorts wearing Matty Forde in Flanneryās. All that was missing was the result really - I had a lovely day otherwise.
Nah thats true. I was waiting in the dressing and nailed him when he came in. I didnāt realize that when I did it that Gilroy would then put on Quinn.
I can kinda understand it Mac. Dublin were shocking yesterday and maybe Cluxton felt they didnāt deserve the win, I know I didnāt when I was leaving the ground. He was probably trying to make an early exit to avoid being arrested for robbery.
He put Quinn on twice so.
forgot he came on just before half time.
This is certainly a massive possibility if not the only factor.
Anyone know if Andy Moran has had any injuries in last 2-3 years?
Iām biased on this but do most people think Dublin were just really poor yesterday? Or were they bad because of the way Wexford played against them? The Herald has a headline today along the lines of it being Dublins worst game since the Kerry fiasco. Should Wexford not be given some credit as it seems everyone is writing that the only reason they had a chance was down to Dublin playing crap?
The Herald must have forgotten Dublinās performances against Wexford and Meath last year. They werenāt much better against Armagh either.
Well the feeling among the lads that I go to the matches with was that Wexford played well against them and only for the og the feeling was Wexford would have won. Alot of people were very impressed with Brosnan and Bradley.
Unfortunately all the talk is going to about how Dublin played.
