Big squad to rotate Sidney. Warrior performance from them tonight.
Has any player under Mourinho ever picked up a serious injury though, at any of the clubs he’s managed?
Can’t think of any off the top of my head.
Jose probably picked up a few “conditioning” tips at Inter.

Stephen Hunt almost killed Cech. Close but no cigar.

No. They must train and rest very well.

Petr Cech?
Huh?
Inter have one of the worst track records with injuries in Europe over the past 15 years.

I don’t recall them having many under Mourinho.
Two players who were with Porto when they won the Champions League in 2004 have been convicted and banned for doping in the last year - Deco and Carlos Alberto de Jesus.
First time seeing Carragher and Neville’s analysis. Very good. Reminds me a lot of giles and dunphy

They were relatively injury free under Mourinho but you look at their injury problems over the years and it’s almost unrivaled. They had 15 first team players out injured at one stage last season for instance, not to mention the injury problems that the likes of Ronaldo, Vieri, Crespo suffered while at Inter.
Looking at fixtures there, City should take 18 points from their next 18.
arsenal, city and Chelsea all to come to Anfield
Liverpool are in with a shot at the title
Wonderful post match coverage by Sky Sports for the last hour and fittingly signing off with Blue Monday by New Order.
Mourinho is a gas cunt. Still coming out with guff about Chelsea getting in position to launch a title challenge next season but being proud that his young team has beaten the best team in the league twice.
He also said that their Scottish masseur gave the team talk and that Chelsea are like a small horse who needs to drink lots of milk and learn how to jump. This compares to Arsenal and Manchester City who are already big horses.

Did he say if it was goats milk they needed to drink?
Joe Kinnear has resigned as Newcastle’s director of football. He believes he has taken the role as far as any man possibly can.

Fooking hell, no wonder they’ve so few injuries if you’d have to listen to that laugh every day during recovery
I listened to that for 1 minute 20 seconds longer than anyone should.
