Official Barclays Premier League 2013/2014 Thread

Lovely stuff

As a Tottenham fan, why would you want your main rivals for fourth to win?

Disappointed to see Chelsea win. B Rod has the Reds looking up ahead now to win a title not over the shoulder at fourth.

Maybe you read the result wrong @Sidney , our main rivals for 4th just lost in injury time.

TBH I think Spurs will not finish in the top 4 but that was a good result for us if we are to finish 5th. Europa League is more important next year with winners getting into the CL.

Today was merely a stay of execution for Chelsea. Tiger Tim’s superior tactical knowledge will clamp Jose when Tottenham play them in two week’s time.

Cardiff 4-0 down at home to Hull.

They’re getting their hides Tanned.

Matt Jarvis has give Big Sam’s boys the lead away to Arsenal, Nocerino playing a big part in the goal.

Borriello doesn’t seem to have played any part at all, thought he would have done OK there.

Podolski equalises.

Koscielny is an absolutely shocking defender, what is it EPL pundits and journalists see in the likes of him and Kompany?

2 for Podolski

Luke Shaw is 18 and, as far as I know has had one excellent season in the EPL.

Now I read he’s been linked to a host of clubs (fair enough) and is likely to command a fee of £30m (wtf?!)

Is he that good? I’ve not seen him much except on MOTD.

Podolski got 2 and Andy got none

Is there another official thread? This thread seems to have gone months without being updated until last night.

yes

The “English born and bred” premium, mate-see transfer fees for Ashley Young, Phil Jones, Stewart Downing, Andy Carroll and, up until 6 months ago, Jordan Henderson.

Fucking moderators

The " dalgleish factor" is missing now though. He would bankrupt the Saudis given enough rope, and still win fuck all.

Mark Hughes already tried this and failed miserably.

Kenny “Imelda Marcos” dalgleish is surely in a league of his own when it comes to stupid dubious purchases. Hughes in the Hapenny place comparatively.

Would you ever fuck off
