Two salads ? A Boring cunt, or a whale trying to shed a few.
The Port house is still good. Bar Pintxo in temple bar is also a savage spot for tapas
It is indeed, and has the maddest toilets in Dublin.
I belive they are owned by the same people.
Still is a great aul spot, good prices too. Couldnt go wrong.
Great deal here for anyone interested - http://livingsocial.com/deals/49551-70-to-spend-on-michelin-star-cuisine
any fingalians tried bon appetit on a tuesday night- you thriow a dice & if it lands on even you get your meal for free
Fingals so called fine dining establishment runs toss-the-boss nights like a shitty Australian outback āhotelā
Once the restaurant gets a michelin star it automatically validates the credentials of the resturant - your "so called "comment is incorrect
Ya Iām sure having a game of roll the dice for free dinner is a sure fire way to keep a Michellin star. The poor people out Fingal must be broke to the ropes if this is what a fine dining restaurant has to resort to get punters through the door.
Runt, I understand and appreciate your concern but you are applying general economic theories to an area the defies convention. Fingal is awash with money.
If I was to spend a few hundred euro in Bon Appetit (which I do regularly) I know that money will get recycled in Fingal and probably used to purchase fresh fish from the Howth trawlers or a few hundred heads of lettuce from a Rush greenhouse. The money gets further circulated in the local economy and eventually returns to its original source. The abundance of natural resources and the inherent wealth of Fingal means that shifting money around merely transfers hard currency from one person to another but the resources of the citizens never change.
The dice game merely allows us to play at being needy. Itās the same reason we gamble regularly and also why we dabble in the stock market. We have no need for further income or discount prices, it just amuses us.
Another good deal in fair Fingal (have never eaten there but presume itās decent)

id give this restaurant 10/10
foodwise its not great- its more of a cafe than a restaurant & there is certainly wouldnt be a place to go for a night out- its more of a place for a blt or a wrap than a decent meal- however there is a signed POR jersey hanging up & for that reason it gets full marks
I ate in Ciao in Malahide at the weekend and was terribly impressed.
Wasnāt expecting much but the food was excellent - presentation was slightly better than actual taste but both were in the premium bracket. Splendid views over the marina too. 10/10
Was in the culinary wasteland that is Airside today when I noticed a pie stall outside Harvey Normans. I had a very tasty chicken bacon and leek pie - ā¬4. I recommend this establishment highly.
Jesus I wish Iād known about that pie place when I was looking out of my mouth in Airside for a few hours waiting for a timing belt to be changed.
Have dined in Ciao twice in recent times and have to say +1 to the above.
A deal for Bon Appetit available here - http://www.grabone.ie/dublin
