Lots of ball wall activity I’d imagine
You might get to meet some of the people Kev knows
12 year old video and yet it’s still the best one I’ve come across for striking related skills. Any club worth it’s salt should invest in a big fuck off ball wall.
We’d an indoor session in Abbotstown this morning. Great to be out of the wind and rain.
Watched some of the indoor track and field afterwards.
It really is a fantastic facility. You’d have killed for anything like it when you were young. Kids have so many opportunities now - it’s brilliant.
Some kids unfortunately
Were you in the gaa pitch or rugby one? We’ve used it a fair few times - unreal is right
Dont tell kev
GAA pitch.
It’s cheaper to rent than a council astro pitch we use a fair bit.
I’d love a bit of actual insight into what Kinnerk does that’s so different.
I’d say the biggest thing he did was make sessions enjoyable and non complex and give guys a role description.
Look at what Flanagan does for example… You could define his role in about 4 or 5 bullet points but he perfects it. His transition has been phenomenol under Kinnerk…
But Flanagan is just a piece of jigsaw and Kinnerk has managed to take all the pieces and make the picture.
And the roids.
Theres no drugs mate. They just pump JPs money directly into their veins
It’d be interesting to see a Kinnerk or Gavin with a senior team in another county to see what they’d bring or how far they could pull a team up.
I’d like to see McGuinnness even back at it
Well Kinnerk managed to get Clare an all ireland in 13 so fair to say he’s a genius
Kinnerk ahead of Gavin because he did it with and without money.
He did it with Davy on his back as well
This is the key part … silk purse and pigs ears … both Gavin and kinnerk are excellent but they have always had an abundance of talent to work with , they could come up with a game plan and work backwards from there …they’ve never had to say right this is our lot , how do we come up with formula to make it work …
He did exactly that with Clare
Am…do you recall what Limerick were like in 2016, the year before he took over? And his first year, 2017?
Ah Clare had talent to work with , they won 3 u21s in a row around then …
