What do you mean by re-done?
Sorry lads we didn’t catch that score, we’ll go back to the sideline and go again.
Action!

Contact the helpdesk and ask Veo to redo the follow the ball type.
Interesting.
This was from a college; maybe they’ve only started using it but I’d say there was a good 10 mins or so where the ball wasn’t on the screen whatsoever. Somebody next to it to just give it a kick in the general right direction wouldn’t have hurt.
That’s all wrong anyway! Are you sure you were watching the “follow the ball” option?
I agree that VEO isn’t quite ready for Hurling yet. I’d want a 99% success of not missing the action of the ball, and VEO was about 90%. Of course they’ll market it like it’s perfect for Hurling but it isn’t. Lack of a decent zoom is painful too at times especially if tagging players etc.

Another article by Sean Flynn on Short Puck Outs.
It’s such a small market of people that would be interested in those kind of articles m. He’s doing the right thing removing the paywall.
Are clubs moving away from Foireann to handle their administration?
I know my own club are using both ClubZap and Foireann, but the word on the grapevine is that a lot of clubs are beginning to use the likes of Clubzap or Clubforce exclusively to do the work for them, due to trouble with payments, authentication and general unwieldiness of the Foireann system.
Wouldn’t you still have to link in with foireann for the likes of vetting etc?
We went the opposite way, were with Clubforce for the past few years but found it unreliable for notifications etc and are doing everything through Foireann now.
What’s wrong with Foireann exactly?
Yes but in terms of collecting membership etc, using something like Clubzap is much easier
The club are complaining that they had trouble with authentication for Stripe, which is used to collect payments, and then could not access the money to pay affiliation fees
Having to navigate a 16 page guide for Clubforce does not define user friendly
Ah stop, its the handiest thing in the world…
We use Clubzap; a few clubs around the area uslng Clubforce have had a few complaints alright
We’ve stuck with Clubforce. The hassle of getting people setup on Foireann was off putting plus we also have the Lotto on Clubforce.
